Hi, I'm Lisa, and I set up The Sugar Cart in 2015.
I've always loved cake baking and decorating, and worked at Mary Ford's Cake Artistry Centre in Southbourne for 7 years after leaving school. Although I worked in the office, arriving to work each day to the smell of fresh bread and cakes was a great start to the day!
Over the years and inbetween having my 4 lovely daughters, I have baked for family and friends. My biggest challenge was baking my own wedding cupcake tower - it took me 3 days to complete, I could do this in a morning now so I've moved on a bit!
I've always enjoyed all things creative, so there's nothing I love more than making chocolate bouquets and trying out new cakes. I'm always trying new things and go to bed dreaming of cake flavours!
